St. Martin´s Conference 2015
The Office for the Protection of Competition organizes for the ninth time the traditional St. Martin´s Conference on the recent trends and developments of the competition law. This year conference is going to be held in the premises of the Office on 11 – 12 November 2015.
After traditional introductory overview of recent trends and developments of the Czech and European competition law and policy the Office prepares panels and workshops on current issues faced by legal experts in the competition area. It includes more economic approach to competition assessment, cartels, supervision of competitive conduct of public authorities and the issue of significant market power. The workshop format of certain panels is going to be used as such model was much appreciated by the audience during the last conference.
Within particular discussion panels a number of experts from the Czech Republic and other European countries will provide their experience. Detailed agenda and profiles of speakers will be published on the website of the Office. St. Martin´s Conference has become a well established opportunity to gather Czech and foreign experts from competition agencies, European Commission, academics and private sector, law firms, courts and public administration. Conference will be held in Czech and English language with simultaneous translation.
