St. Martin´s Conference 2016
The Office for the Protection of Competition organizes again the traditional St. Martin´s Conference on the recent trends and developments of the competition law. This year conference is going to be held in the premises of the Office on 9 and 10 November 2016.
After traditional introductory overview of recent trends and developments of the Czech and European competition law and policy the Office prepares panels and workshops on current issues faced by legal experts in the competition area. It includes especially panels on private enforcement and calculation of fines for anticompetitive conduct. The topic of significant market power will be discussed on the second day of the conference. The workshop format of certain panels is going to be used as such model was much appreciated by the audience during the last conference.
St. Martin´s Conference has become a well established opportunity to gather Czech and foreign experts from competition agencies, European Commission, academics and private sector, law firms, courts and public administration. Conference will be held in Czech and English language with simultaneous translation.
