BABY DIREKT fined CZK 40 million for resale price maintenance agreements
During 2011 – 2018, BABY DIREKT entered into restricted agreements mainly through oral or e-mail communication with its retailers of children's goods to increase prices for sales to consumers to the level of the minimum retail prices set by BABY DIREKT. The retailers entered into these agreements during abovementioned period. BABY DIREKT threatened the retailers with penalties for not complying with the minimum price limits or even penalized them in the form of non-delivery of goods.
