Merger of airlines approved
ČSA is active in passenger and cargo air transport, charter passenger transport, repair and maintenance of aviation equipment, catering and other services. Travel Service, part of Unimex Group, is active on the market for charter passenger transport and low-cost passenger transport under the brand Smart Wings.
The Office concluded that the transaction will not rise or strengthen dominant position of the merging parties that would result in substantial lessening of competition. Merged entity will face competitive constraints of other big companies, in particular foreign ones.
